This course is designed for all PEPFAR staff who use the DATIM (Data for Accountability, Transparency, and Impact) system for data reporting, data storage, data cleaning and transformation, and data analysis. This is a beginner-level course for new DATIM users.

About This Course

What will I learn in this course?

In this course, learners will learn the foundations of DATIM and get hands-on experience performing the most commonly used DATIM functions.

Learners will:
  1. Use the Browser Cache Cleaner to troubleshoot DATIM issues
  2. Perform MER data entry using the MER Data Entry application in DATIM
  3. Deduplicate MER data using the Deduplication application in DATIM (coming soon)
  4. Access and manipulate DATIM pivot tables via the Pivot Table application
  5. Access and customize DATIM dashboards for data analysis
  6. Access, select, and manipulate the appropriate MER Approved Analytics Favorites for MER data analysis
  7. Perform data quality checks using MER Data Cleaning Favorites, the PEPFAR Data Genie, and built-in validation checks
  8. Create data visualizations using the Data Visualizer application in DATIM (coming soon)

What are the course prerequisites?

There are no prerequisites to take this course. This is a beginner-level course for new DATIM users.
