About This Course
The PEPFAR Financial Classifications Reference Guide provides comprehensive definitions of PEPFAR financial classifications, or the structure by which PEPFAR funded activities and services are classified by organization, program, beneficiary population, and cost category.
The Financial Classifications are used to answer the following questions during budget allocation and expenditure reporting: What is the purpose of the funding? Who is spending? Who is benefiting? What is being purchased?
The purpose of this Knowledge Check is to help members of PET reflect on their comprehension and understanding of the concepts and strengthen their ability to identify the application of PEPFAR financial classifications in the applicable processes.
The Knowledge Check seeks to serve as a reference for re-enforcing information and can be taken an unlimited number of times. This test will be updated accordingly with each new release of the PEPFAR Financial Classification Reference Guide.
